In this archive workshop, we will search for artworks that have gone unnoticed, like on the outside walls, in the attic, or on the façade of the Kunsthalle Bern. We follow material traces, move around the spaces and compare what we find with the documents preserved in the archive of the Kunsthalle. What was preserved on site, what only on paper? What happens if we understand the Kunsthalle not in terms of its potential for new exhibitions, but in terms of its function as a relic?
