The Kunsthalle Bern is launching a new series of art education programmes:
Art educators are guests at the Kunsthalle for six months at a time and react to the exhibited art or the Kunsthalle Bern as a place and institution from their own point of view. The results can enable shifts in our understanding of art education.
For the first feature, Gila Kolb (research professor didactics of the arts) invites the public to a The Art Educator’s Talk LIVE together with her guests Carol Baumgartner, Beate Florenz and Annemarie Hahn.
The conversation revolves around the showing and producing of kitsch and clichés in art education and asks: are results of creative action in the context of art education kitsch, craft or “fridge art”?

The talk is open to the public and free of charge.
