It’s a pity actually: museums are open during the week when many people are working. The “Museumsbier” pilot project seeks to address this by making it enjoyable to visit museums in the evening.

Each of the participating museums (Alpine Museum, Bern Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Communication, Museum of Natural History, Rifle Museum) will have at least one exhibition open and a bar available for its visitors. Admission is included in the first drink by way of a small surcharge.
